"Set date question that defaults to 1 year from date of submission"- Google Docs Editors Community
Due dates, renewals and follow-ups are all some days, months or years after another date. When people work them out by hand they make mistakes, and Google Forms can't do the calculation for them. With Formfacade, you use the ADD function in the Calculate option of a date question, such as TODAY().add(1,"years") for a membership that runs a year, and your users see the new date as soon as the first date is there. The new date is saved with the response, so your list in Google Sheets is ready to sort.
On the page that opens, name your form, click Build form and click Proceed.
Click on the "Edit" tab.
Click on the + icon (Add field) in the toolbar on the right.
Enter "Input date" as the question and select Date in the question type list
Click on the + icon again
Enter "Add 5 days to input date" as the question and select Date in the question type list
Click on the ⚙️ icon at the bottom right of the question.
Select the "Answer" tab.
