How to download google forms responses as PDF?

You need a PDF of each Google Forms response, for a file or an audit, and Google Forms has no download button for it. Its print option saves one response at a time, or all of them in one long file, which is slow with hundreds of responses. The next response that comes in waits for you to do it again. Formesign saves every new response to a Google Drive folder as its own PDF. You choose the folder once and there is nothing to remember after that.

Let's start. Upload your form as a PDF and follow the steps below.

Use Formesign

  • Upload your PDF and click Proceed. On "Do you need the signed document to match your original PDF?", select Yes, keep my PDF exactly as it is and click Continue.
  • Check the fields and click Proceed. On "How do you want the signature?", select Create a reusable link for recurring forms and click Continue. Click View signed documents.
  • Click on "Signed PDF" tab

  • Click Save to Google Drive

  • Select the preferred folder and click Next
  • Select the page you want to save to Drive and click Proceed
  • Authorize Google Drive access to complete the setup.
To collect responses, click on "Share" tab, copy the link and share it with your users.

Use the Google Forms print option

Open your form in Google Forms > click Responses > click Individual > click on the Print icon > select Save as PDF and click Save. You can use the back and next buttons to navigate through the form responses and download them as PDFs one response at a time. However, this process can be tedious if you have hundreds of responses.

Open your form in Google Forms > click Responses > click on the more icon > click Print all responses > select Save as PDF and click Save. All the form responses will be saved as a single PDF file.

Summary

If you download responses as PDF one at a time, it is tedious when you have hundreds of them.
